With 20+ years of pastoral experience, Jamin understands how demanding and isolating ministry can be, which is why he is committed to enriching the spiritual lives of Christian leaders and investing in their unique callings.
About Jamin
Jamin Goggin lives with his wife, Kristin, and their four children in San Diego, CA. Jamin and Kristin have an ever growing love for farming and gardening, which finds expression in the land God has given them. They not only have a shared passion for tending to and cultivating their land, but also a passion for inviting others into their space for the sake of restful and meaningful encounter with God.
Jamin has been a pastor for over twenty years. As a pastor, he has served in a wide variety of church contexts in various capacities. Over the past twenty years he has also taught, led and facilitated hundreds of spiritual retreats. Jamin holds an MA in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care, an MA in New Testament (Talbot School of Theology), and a PhD in Systematic Theology (University of Aberdeen). Jamin is currently a Ministry Affiliate Professor of Christian Ministry & Leadership at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University.
Jamin is the co-author of Beloved Dust: Drawing Close to God by Discovering the Truth About Yourself (Thomas Nelson, 2014) and The Way of the Dragon or the Way of the Lamb (Thomas Nelson, 2017). He is also the co-editor of Reading the Christian Spiritual Classics (IVP, 2013).
